【解説】
分詞（動詞の-en形）は「名詞を修飾する」（＝形容詞）の働き（限定用法）がある
「修飾される名詞」と「分詞」の関係
「～している」（能動の関係）⇒現在分詞（動詞のing形）
「～される」（受動の関係）⇒過去分詞（動詞の過去形）…過去の意味はない
①分詞が単独で名詞を修飾する場合
分詞を名詞の前に置く（前置修飾）
分詞 ⇒ 名詞
the invited guests
the broken umbrella
②分詞が他の語句と共に名詞を修飾する場合
分詞を名詞の後に置く（後置修飾）
名詞 ← 分詞
the guests invited to the party
the umbrella broken by the strong wind
【例文】
1 I bought a used car.
2 The injured people were taken by ambulance.
（その怪我をした人たちは救急車で運ばれました）
3 I like boiled eggs / scrambled eggs.
