古今の日本の文学作品の中から「天象」「気象」「大地」などに関する名表現を集めたカタログのような書籍。今回で１０回目の投稿ですが、先は長いです。

本日は「気象」の大カテゴリーから「灯（ともしび）」。引用は『徒然草』と『陰翳礼賛』から。蝋燭の焔を「夜の脈搏」と感じる。

コンビニで買った手軽な本です。見開き２頁で禅語１語に対応しており不適投稿しております。著者のサダマシック・コンサーレさんは東京都千代田区周辺で女性の悩み相談室を生業とするカウンセラーだそうですが詳細不明です。

閑古錐（かんこすい）とは使い古して先の丸くなった大工道具の錐のこと。

３月に友人とスティングの広島公演に行くので、予習がてらスティングのベスト盤と、

police時代のベスト盤をアナログ・レコード（再発盤）で聴いております。

当方のｐｏｌｉｃｅのベスト盤はアナログ２枚組です。本日は２枚目のA面の紹介。

収録曲は１９８１年発売のアルバム"Ghost in the Machine"から３曲、１９８３年の"Synchronicity"から１曲です。

アルバムの売上では上位の常連となり、バンドとしては油の乗り切った頃の作品です。

"Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" is a song by British rock group the Police from their fourth album, Ghost in the Machine. The song, notable for featuring a pianist (uncommon in Police songs), dates back to a demo recorded in the house of Mike Howlett in the autumn of 1976. It was also a hit single that reached the top of the charts in the United Kingdom (topping its predecessor, "Invisible Sun") in November 1981[1] and hit No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart that same year.[2]

"Synchronicity II" is a song by the Police, and the third single from their album Synchronicity. Ghost in the Machine is the fourth studio album by English rock band the Police. The album was released on 2 October 1981 by A&M Records. The songs were recorded between January and September 1981 during sessions that took place at AIR Studios in Montserrat and Le Studio in Quebec, assisted by record producer Hugh Padgham.

Ghost in the Machine topped the UK Albums Chart and peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200. The album produced the highly successful singles "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic", "Invisible Sun", and "Spirits in the Material World", with a fourth single, "Secret Journey", also being released in the US. Ghost in the Machine was listed at number 322 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album was reissued in 1983 on CD.

[広島掃除に学ぶ会] ２０２３年１月２８日（土曜日）平和大通り街頭清掃

１月２８日（土曜日）平和大通りの街頭清掃を実施しました。１３名の参加がありました。他の団体が平和大通りのゴミ拾いをされておられるのを見かけました。大通り自体のゴミは以前に比べて大変少なくなりました。掃除の会の皆さんはそれぞれ嗅覚を効かせて、駐車場の奥、植え込みの中、窪地などからゴミを集められ、成果は大漁となりました。ご参加いただいた皆様、ありがとうございました。

広島掃除に学ぶ会・栗栖さんは集合時間よりも相当早く到着され、本日は植栽の不要な枝の刈り取りをされておられました。いつもながら頭が下がります。

３月にスティングの広島公演に友人と行くので復習中。本日はpoliceのベスト盤のSide Bです。１９７９年、１９８０年のヒット・シングル。引用はWikiPediaから。当方の入手したアナログ・レコードはオリジナルではアナログ・レコードではなくCDで、マスターからアナログ・レコードにしたものです。１８０ｇ重量盤。オーディ・テクニカ社の説明では音質の向上は微妙のようです。

重量盤
通常盤の12インチは140g程度だが、180gやそれ以上の重量がある盤のこと。通常盤に比べ厚みがあるため盤の歪みが少なく、しっかりと針が音を拾う事ができる、また重量がある分安定した回転ができる。リスニングには良いが、DJにとっては厚い分操作性が落ち、好まれないこともある。

"The Bed's Too Big Without You" is a song by English rock band The Police, released as the final single from their second studio album Reggatta de Blanc (1979). It was written by lead vocalist and bassist Sting. An alternate version was released as a single in the UK in 1980 in the set Six Pack in conjunction with the re-release of the Police's earlier singles "Roxanne", "Can't Stand Losing You", "So Lonely", "Message in a Bottle" and "Walking on the Moon"It has been covered by a number of other artists, including Sting as a solo artist, Ranking Roger and Sheila Hylton.

"Don't Stand So Close to Me" is a hit song by the rock band The Police, released in September 1980 as the lead single from their third album Zenyatta Mondatta. It concerns a teacher who has a sexual relationship with a student, which in turn is discovered.The band's third No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, it was also the best selling single of 1980 in the UK selling 808,000 copies in 1980 alone.The song also charted in the top ten in Australia, Canada and the US. The Police won the 1982 Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for this song.

"De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da" is a song by The Police, released as a single on 20 November 1980. Released as the British second single from the album Zenyatta Mondatta, the song was written by Sting as a comment on how people love simple-sounding songs. The song was re-recorded in 1986 as "De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da '86" but not released until 1995.
