[be動詞の一般動詞]
英語の動詞にはbe動詞と一般動詞の２種類がある
[be動詞の形]
be動詞は主語（S）の形によって変化（３パターン）する
[主語の形（＝主格の代名詞）]
もともと主語であった名詞を言い換えたものを、主格(※主語に相当する語）の代名詞と呼ぶ
主語 単数形 複数形

２人称（相手） You You
３人称（その他） He/She/It They

[主格の代名詞とbe動詞（の変化）の関係]
主格代名詞 be動詞（短縮形） 例文
I am(I'm) I am(=I'm) your leader.
He/She/it is(He's) He is (=He's) wild.（野蛮）
その他すべて are(You're) You are (=You're) late.（遅刻）
[一般動詞の形（語尾）の変化]
一般動詞は主語により語尾だけが変化する
①eat, play 語尾にｓをつける eats, plays
②wash, go 語尾がss/sh/ch/x/oの動詞はesをつける washes, goes
③study, carry 語尾が子音＋ｙの動詞はｙをiesに変える studies, carries
④have 不規則変化 has
※子音とは母音（アイウエオ）以外の発音
[主語の一般動詞の変化の関係]
be動詞がisになる主語（He, She, it = 三人称単数）であれば一般動詞も語尾変化する
You play the trumpet.
She plays the trumpet.
[be動詞の役割]
①SV文型
It is at pet shop.
He is in the room.
be動詞は「いる、ある」（＝存在）を示し、「場所」を表す修飾語M（前置詞句）と一緒になることが多い
②SVC文型
補語Cには名詞または形容詞が続く
He is interesting.
They are good dictionaries.
[be動詞と一般動詞の違い]
「話す」「寝る」など具体的な動作を示せば一般動詞
具体的な動作を示さない場合はbe動詞
Mike is tall.
Mike eats natto.
She talks fast.
They sleep well.
I am happy.
They are busy.
He is a waiter.
[形式主語としてのit]
天候や時間などを表す場合に仮に主語に置く言葉
It rains a lot here.
It is 8 o'clock.
